TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

GUIDELINES FOR MIXING & MASTERING TRACK PREPARATION

01 | FILE FORMAT & ORGANIZATION

Aspect Requirement Key Detail
Format & Quality WAV, 24-bit, 44.1 kHz or higher. Compressed formats (MP3, FLAC) are not accepted. Maintain your DAW's highest quality.
Syncing All tracks must start at the exact same point. Export from the very beginning of your session (0:00). Ensure tracks contain actual audio and are not empty.
Naming Clear and consistent names. E.g., KICK IN, SD TOP, GTR L, LEAD VOX. Avoid generic names like "Dani 1" or "Chorus FX."
Structure One folder per song (Title + BPM). DO NOT use subfolders for instruments; everything in a single folder per song. Include REFERENCE_MIX if applicable.

02 | INSTRUMENT SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

Instrument Essential Requirement Production Recommendation
Guitars & Bass Minimum two takes for rhythm parts. Submit the **DI track** (clean signal) in addition to the amp signal for flexible reamping. Maintain take consistency.
Acoustic Drums Check Phase and Tuning. Ensure all mics are in phase and the drums are well-tuned before recording.
MIDI Drums Submit the complete MIDI file. Ensure realistic *velocity* values. Specify the drum software used (SD3, EZD3, etc.).
Vocals Only the best takes. Ensure backing vocals/harmonies are tightly aligned and pitched. Remove unwanted noises (breaths, coughs, clicks).

03 | LEVELS & MIXING PREPARATION

Aspect Requirement Correct Action
Processing NO EQ, Compression, Reverb, or Delay. Export tracks *dry* (without insert effects). If you want to keep a specific effect, send it as a separate track or a wet/dry version.
Gain Levels Peaks between -12 dB and -6 dB. Avoid clipping (peaks above 0 dB) or signals that are too low and may introduce noise.
Editing Ensure clean edits. Review and remove abrupt cuts, unwanted noises, and clicks in the recordings.

FINAL TRANSMISSION: A major part of my work depends on the quality of the recording. The better you record and organize your tracks, the better the final result will be.

Trust the process, and deliver material of the highest possible quality. Thank you for your collaboration!
